Special Events Manager
Overview:
-
Planning, implementation and follow up for markets and festivals
-
Develop and maintain event and volunteer databases.
-
Manage all aspects of volunteer committees and volunteer coordination, including but not limited to, staffing recruitment, supervision, training and acknowledgement.
-
Coordinate event logistics, publicity, including public relations, advertising and collateral material design, production and distribution.
-
Responsible for the development and fulfillment event budgets.
-
Cultivate and expand sponsorship development and fulfillment as needed.
-
Supervisor and coordinate with event contractors and managers.
-
Establish and expand product opportunities.
-
Actively participate and staff committees as necessary.
-
Locate event sponsorships, swag bag donations for company sponsored events.
-
Provide periodic progress reports.
-
Prepare and modify event contracts as requested.
-
Ensure adequate staffing for events prior to committing.
-
Interns will perform a variety of administrative and marketing tasks.
-
Create employee training videos.
-
Provide social media and research.
-
Work on special projects and assist in planning large events such as one day festivals.
-
Interns must attend staff meetings held both virtual and/or in person.
-
Research other avenues of revenue that would relate to the growth of the company.
-
All meetings are prescheduled for the year; however, changes do occur.
-
End of semester project will be offered to interns to allow college credits once approved by university.
Additional Opportunities:

Qualifications:

This role will be off-site as well as in-office in Union, NJ, as well as occasional visits to farmers markets located throughout NJ.

Sales Account Manager
Overview:

Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success

Generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks

Respond to customer queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience

Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
-
Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
-
Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase
-
Provide weekly reports on the status of accounts and transactions
-
Restock cobblers regularly with retail partners, invoice upon delivery
-
Monitor and display product in store refrigerated cases in favorable ways to increase sales
-
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
-
Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive
-
Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience

Knowledge of Microsoft and Google Docs
-
Understanding of sales performance metrics
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-
An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
-
Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
-
Minimum of 1-3 years of restaurant experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue is required

Willing to learn all aspects of the food and beverage industry

Farmers Market Sales Rep

Perform in person retail sales at various indoor and seasonal outdoor locations and events.

Prior experience in sales and customer service.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to knowledgeably and enthusiastically sell products to customers.

Friendly, approachable and outgoing personality.

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the company, including evenings and weekends.

Flexible to work 8 – 10 hour shifts for occasional one day events.

Must attend weekly Sunday virtual meetings from 8pm-8:30pm.

Build rapport with customers and always uphold a positive image of the brand.
