Grant Writer

Overview: 

  • Consult with Directors to develop ongoing strategy for maintaining and bringing in grants.

  • Draft and submit letters of introduction, interest, applications and grant proposals.

  • Research additional foundation and business grants.

  • Maintain a schedule of grants and application due dates.

  • Follow-up with various grantors to ensure timely completion of grants. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Must have at least 3+ years of grant writing experience; ideally for small businesses.

  • Organized with a high attention to detail.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and multitasking skills.

 

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Smartsheets.
