Route Driver

Overview: 

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner

Drives personal vehicle on established delivery route or location.

Up-sell at vendor locations and generate new leads in the field.

May assist Management with daily opening and closing of the operation, and training of new route service personnel.

Places stock on shelves or freezer display cases. 

Collect stale, rejected or unsold merchandise while maintaining quality and freshness of products.

Delivers invoices and collects money from vendor partners as needed.

Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; informs regular customers of new products and services; listens to and resolves service complaints.

Sets up sale promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers/vendors.

Working Pattern: 

The days and time of work will be scheduled with Director of Operations. 

Workdays varies from Tuesday – Saturday between the hours of 10am – 5pm.

Ability to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. 

Qualifications: 

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.

Strong attention to detail 

Additional Information: 

This role requires on-site visits to our bakery in Union, NJ.
